At Giftrstore, we know customers may need to update or cancel an order shortly after checkout. Because many of our items include customization, personal details, or fast production workflows, we’ve created a system that balances customer flexibility with smooth operational efficiency.
Our goal is to give you a fair opportunity to correct mistakes while ensuring that production continues without interruption once it begins. The guidelines below explain exactly how adjustments work so you always know what to expect.
4-Hour Adjustment Window (Important)
Every customer has a strict 4-hour window after placing an order to request any modification or cancellation. This is the only period where changes are possible because orders enter automated and manual production steps immediately after.
During this timeframe, the order is temporarily held, giving you time to review your details and correct any errors.
Once the 4 hours pass, the system automatically releases the order into production, and no further changes can be made.
Changes Allowed Within the 4-Hour Window:
• Size adjustments
• Color or style changes
• Edits to custom text or personalization
• Replacing uploaded photos or design files
• Changing product type or quantity
• Canceling the entire order
• Updating the shipping address
Why This Window Cannot Be Extended
After 4 hours, our team begins preparing your order through:
• Reviewing customization files
• Preparing printing or engraving instructions
• Reserving materials and inventory
• Scheduling your order into the production line
Once production starts, any modification could cause delays, workflow interruptions, or wasted materials. To maintain fairness and efficiency, the 4-hour rule applies to every order.
How to Request a Change or Cancellation (Within 4 Hours)
If you need an adjustment, please act quickly.
The fastest and most reliable method is email.

Use this subject line for the quickest support:
“URGENT: Order [Your Order Number] Change/Cancellation”
Include:
• Your full name
• Email used at checkout
• Order number
• A clear description of the change
Examples:
• “Please cancel my order.”
• “Please change the size from M to L.”
• “Please update my shipping address to: [new address].”
• “Please replace my uploaded photo with the attached file.”

Requests sent after the 4-hour window will be declined because the order will already be processing.
No Changes Allowed After 4 Hours
Once the window expires, the order becomes final.
At this stage, Giftrstore cannot make any of the following changes:
• Size changes
• Color or style modifications
• Custom text edits
• Replacing uploaded files
• Canceling the order
• Updating the shipping address
We understand mistakes happen, but this policy ensures fast, consistent fulfillment for all customers.
Customer Responsibility for Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout. Please verify:
• Street and house number
• Apartment, suite, or unit number
• City, state, and ZIP code
• Correct spelling
• Whether the address is valid in carrier databases (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL)
Even small errors can result in delivery problems.
If the Address Is Entered Incorrectly
If the carrier cannot deliver due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for any re-shipment fees.
Examples of common carrier errors caused by incorrect addresses:

• “Missing apartment or unit number”
• “Recipient moved”
If tracking shows the package was delivered to the address entered at checkout, Giftrstore cannot issue a refund or replacement, as the order is considered fulfilled.
